The Student Representative Council (SRC) serves as the official voice of the student body at DRU-A-FET College. The SRC represents the interests of students and works closely with College management to promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. It provides students with a platform to participate in matters that affect student life, academic success, and the overall College experience.

The SRC operates in accordance with the College’s governance policies and constitution, ensuring that student representation is transparent, accountable, and aligned with the values and objectives of DRU-A-FET College.

Aims and Objectives of the SRC

The Student Representative Council aims to:

  • Represent the interests and concerns of students in matters affecting their academic journey and campus experience.
  • Promote effective communication between students, College management, lecturers, and other stakeholders.
  • Encourage student participation in College activities, leadership opportunities, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of respect, inclusivity, integrity, responsibility, and mutual support within the College community.
  • Advocate for the fair and equitable treatment of all students, irrespective of race, gender, religion, language, disability, or background.
  • Support student development by encouraging collaboration, leadership, personal growth, and academic excellence.
  • Assist in promoting a safe, welcoming, and supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
